New York’s Fashion Week is here and I was honored to have the chance to walk in the Michael Fenici show at Nolcha Fashion Week. It was amazing!!! For a guy that used to weigh 300lbs., I never thought I would have the chance to play runway model.

It started when I met Fenici a few months ago for the first fitting. While taking my measurement, he showed me how detailed his suits are and that it takes 40 hours to make each one because they are completely handmade. A few months later when I showed up for the final fitting, he told me that not only does he fit his suits to the body of a person but also to their personality. As he was saying this, I noticed my blue velvet jacket. Blue velvet!!! Yes!

I was so excited to wear the Michael Fenici suit that I completely forgot to be nervous walking the runway for a NYC fashion week show. I was completely calm until I felt the hand on my back pushing towards the catwalk. Holy crap! I’m actually doing this and I can back out now. It was all a blur. I barely remember walking down the runway. I just remember seeing flashes of light from all the photographers positioned at the end of the runway. The suit Michael Fenici made for me is by far the best thing I have ever worn and it looks so bad-ass!
