I grew up just outside Detroit and have worked on the radio ever since I was 19.
I'm told it was an inevitable career choice as my mom has pictures of me as a kid turning any household item into a microphone (experience shows that big wooden soup spoons work best).
I attended college studying theatre and political science at the University of Michigan.
I enjoy green shoes, zipper hoodies, chicken wings, green olives, beer, McClure's spicy pickles and games.
When I finally grow up one day, I want to own a small French Piano Bar and be skilled in the art of tasting fine wines.
This is... RIDDDDDICULOUS.
According to The Huffington Post:
A blogger for CBS Houston has been skewered by disgruntled readers this week after asking if an NBA cheerleader is "too chunky" to wear skimpy clothing.
After Game 1 of the NBA playoff series between the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Houston Rockets, blogger Claire Crawford commented on the appearance of Thunder cheerleader Kelsey Williams. Crawford wrote that the cheerleader is a "pretty blonde" but claimed that the young woman's "pudginess" was being criticized "by some folks in OKC."
UPDATE: From Daily Mail:
"A CBS blogger who wrote about the perceived weight problem of NBA Oklahoma City Thunder cheerleader, Kelsey Williams, has been fired after labeling her 'too chunky' to perform. Under the pen name 'Claire Crawford,' blogger and CBS Radio 610 digital content manager, Anna-Megan Raley, wrote last week: '[Mrs Williams] has been criticized by some folks in [Oklahoma] for having “pudginess” around her waistline... Is this chick “too chunky” to be a cheerleader?' After outraged commenters on the CBS Houston site called for Ms Raley to be fired, with many writing, 'This is a disgusting waste of an article,' News 9 has now reported that she has indeed been let go."
